Parent's Responsibilities:
- Remember that your child plays for the fun of it and winning is only part of it.
- Players follow a parent's lead, if you criticize your player will too.
- Never ridicule or yell at a player for making a mistake (they know) or losing a game.
- Show respect for your child's opponents.
- Develop respect for the abilities of your opponents.
- Develop team respect for the referee.
- Follow the advice of a physician, do not allow an injured child to play or practice without clearance from his/her doctor.
- Remember children need encouragement. Be generous with your praise, you can always find something positive to say, no matter what.
- Set a good example.
- Make the game a positive experience, for your son/daughter, team, and yourself.
